Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born in Houston, Texas, on September, 4th, 1981 in the family of Mathew Knowles and Tina Beyincé. In childhood Beyonce was a very timid and closed child. Children at school had no idea that her mother owned a beauty salon, as Beyonce did everything in her power not to look attractive: did not wish to be envied by contemporaries. The habit to look to the floor nearly spoilt Beyonce her bearing but already at the age of seven she went in for dancing. It was the choreographer of Beyonce who inspired her for the career of an actress, having convinced the babe that she had a unique gift. Parents decided to support the child in aspiration to become a known singer. Since the age of seven the girl participated in local competitions of young talents. Only in a year she won more than 30 competitions. Father of Beyonce decided to organize a maiden group which received the name “Girls Tyme”. Her successful career Beyonce achieved not only due to her natural data, but also to strength of mind, and the main thing — surprisingly working capacity. From the moment of the creation of the group Girls Tyme which subsequently was renamed into Destiny’s Child, Beyonce and other young participants of group: LaTavia, LeToya and Kelly Rowland voluntary lost careless children’s pleasures and constantly rehearsed. As it is known, the result of hard work has paid off wholly: group Destiny’s Child has been named the leader on sales among female collectives in the whole history. Her solo career Beyonce began in autumn 2002, having taken part in record of a single “Bonnie and Clyde” of her boy friend Jay-Z. In spring 2003 Beyonce and Luther Vandross made a remake of the composition “The Closer I Get to You”, in the original executed by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway. The composition entered into debut album of Beyonce. The duet got Grammy for the best vocal singing. In 2003 Beyonce let out her first album “Dangerously in Love”. The single “Crazy in Love” with the assistance of Jay-Z became the main hit of that summer and held on at top of the best singles Billbord for 8 weeks. The album reached the first position of charts of Great Britain, Canada, and also Billboard 200 pop and R&B. The general sales of the disk for today make 4 million copies in the USA and 8 million worldwide. Creativity is not the only source of incomes for Beyonce: together with fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger she has created perfume True Star and True Star Gold, was the face of L’Oreal and Pepsi, and also has started own fashion line House of Dereon.
